How do you qualify for Premier Banking?
You'll need to be a permanent UK resident and meet one of the following:
Compare Premier accounts
Join Premier by opening a Premier account. With a Reward account you could earn up to £9 a month for 2 Direct Debits - they need to be at least £4.50 each. Plus, earn an extra £1 a month back in Rewards with 1 mobile app log in.
To apply for any of our Premier accounts, you must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident.
Premier Reward
For £2 monthly fee, you'll get:
£9 a month back in Rewards for 2 Direct Debits - they need to be at least £4.50 each
£1 a month back in Rewards when you log in to our mobile banking app
Earn at least 1% at partner retailers when you use your Royal Bank debit card
You'll need to pay at least £1250 into your Royal Bank account every month.
Premier Reward Black
For a £31 monthly fee, you'll get:

Switch to Royal Bank
The Current Account Switch Service will do all the work when it comes to switching, moving everything across from your old account all within 7 working days, including Direct Debits and standing orders. All you need to do is tell us the details of your old bank account and when you want the Switch to start.
