Coronavirus: mortgage payment holiday

If your income has been temporarily impacted by Coronavirus and you know you are not going to be able to make your monthly mortgage payments in the short term, you can request a 3 month payment holiday.

  • If your mortgage payments are up to date, you can apply for a payment holiday online. Please visit our dedicated page for more details. 
  • If you've already taken a payment holiday with us, there’s no need to contact us. When your existing payment holiday ends we’ll contact you, before any payment is taken, to let you know the next steps and what additional support we can provide.
  • If you have already missed a mortgage payment, and want to apply for a payment holiday, you will need to call us. It's really important to get in touch as soon as possible.
  • If you already know your circumstances won't or are unlikely to improve, you will need to call us. It's really important to get in touch as soon as possible.

If you’ve got other debts in addition to your mortgage, you can get free debt advice. We partner with PayPlan (a third party company), who can offer you free confidential advice for all of your debts.
